Monday
The Monday Lunch Club
This is a joint venture between our church and the Christ Church URC.
The Lunch Club meets every Monday apart from Bank Holidays and is clearly much appreciated by its members who meet to enjoy a hot meal and each other’s company. They are transported to and from their homes by the Chariot bus, which is subsidised by the Joint Council and driven by volunteers from Christ Church and outside.
Tuesday
Time Together on Tuesdays
“Time Together on Tuesdays” is an all age group especially suitable for parents and carers with children. The group welcomes everyone, whatever their age, relationship to the child, culture, religious background, colour, gender or disability.
The group meets weekly in the church, from 10am to 12 noon. Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers, - all welcome. All children who attend the group MUST bring an adult they know, who will stay with them while they attend “Time Together on Tuesdays”. Refreshments, a range of toys, books, and craft activities are provided. During the morning we gather together for songs and a bible story.
