Prayer
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
Remember:
The World
- India where at least 40 people have died and over a million have been affected by floods in three districts of the northern Indian state of Bihar
- The situation between Russia and Georgia – pray for those who have been injured, the families of those who have been killed and those who have been made homeless.
- Remember those areas of the world who are particularly affected at this time of year by hurricanes, tropical storms and tornadoes.
- Zimbabwe, Nepal, Iraq, Israel and Palestine and Afghanistan
- Those whose lives are surrounded with war and violence.
- Those who are starving and homeless.
- Our armed forces serving around the world.
National and Local
- Our Queen and those who govern our lands.
- Pray for those from the Garrison who have been deployed to Afghanistan. Remember their families and the Army Chaplains.
- This month, please pray for Errington Road, Hamilton Road and Wickham Road.Our Queen and those who govern our lands.
Our own pastoral needs
- Remember those who are about to start school or move on to new schools and college this week.
- All those who mourn.
- Those undergoing hospital tests, recovering from surgery or who are unwell
